Grants of up to $30,000 to Connecticut nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools in eligible areas for programs that benefit local communities. First-time applicants must contact program staff prior to applying. Funding is intended for projects and activities that empower youth and address basic human needs. Eligible programs benefit the residents of East Lyme, Groton, Ledyard, Lyme, Montville, New London, North Stonington, Old Lyme, Salem, Stonington. and Waterford.

Eligible applicants may submit grant requests of $5,000 to $30,000. Most awards are in the $10,000 to $15,000 range.
The Foundation will consider a limited number of multiyear grants (please call to discuss in advance of submission). The Foundation's policy for three-year grants requires taking a fourth year off from funding.
