Grants to Connecticut nonprofit organizations in eligible locations for community benefit projects. Program areas include education, environment, health and human services, arts, culture, and the humanities. Preference will be given to programming in the areas of healthcare and human services. Programs must benefit the Berlin and Kensington communities.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Applicant organizations must serve the people of Kensington or Berlin, Connecticut. Preference is given to organizations that provide human services or healthcare programming.
Pre-Application Information
The Marjorie Moore Charitable Foundation deadline is December 1 by 11:59 PM.
Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by letter within 2 to 3 months after each respective proposal deadline.
Term of Contract
Grants from the Moore Foundation made in support of operations or programming are 1 year in duration. Multi-year grants for long-term capital projects will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
