Request a Grant Writer

Grants in the form of a $250 gift card to USA K-12 teachers for creative classroom supplies. Applicants will be judged on a sample lesson plan that shows creativity, originality, and potential impact. Funding is intended to award and encourage classroom creativity, which helps foster individuality, expression, and creative thinking in students.

Entries are judged on completion of all directions, creativity, opportunity for student enrichment, and opportunities for student participation.

Grant amounts of $250 are to be awarded in the form of a Visa gift card.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

All applicants must be employed full-time as a Kindergarten-12th-grade teacher at an elementary school, middle school, or high school in the United States. A qualifying elementary school, middle school, or high school must appear in the National Center for Education Statistics database.

All applicants must be U.S. citizens or permanent legal residents of the United States.

Deadline:
- No later than 11:59 PM ET on August 20, 2019.
- No later than 11:59 PM ET on January 20, 2020.

The Recipients will be announced on or after 30 days after each deadline.

To be considered, an applicant must complete the online form and submit his/her lesson plan, personal statement, and all supplementary materials online no later than the two listed yearly deadlines
